Despite what you may have seen recently on 60 Minutes, Good Morning America, or Olympic ad spots, snowboarding is moving away from the mountains and into new frontiers. Not everyone has a private pipe, or even a shared private pipe, for practicing snowboard stunts. Many people are forced to do their tricks in their own backyards. And thanks to global warming, the streets are often devoid of the needed strips of dirty snow for practicing handrail maneuvers.
This fact should be of interest to you, as on a recent trip to Sears, I noticed the new exclusive feature on some new Kenmore Fridges: Shaved ice! This feature is an amazing opportunity for Sears and Kenmore to be part of the hottest winter sport right now, because what is another use for shaved ice? You got it: snow!
