FuelTV and Exit Real World have been hosting little events called Fuel Fridays every week — giving suburban kids a chance to hang out watch snowboard videos at the Bridgeport shop. The basic gist is, Tigard, OR just got Verizon Fios and doing this will help promote the fact that FUELtv is one of the available channels with this amazing new service! But all cynicism aside, they are paying our friend Jeremy to put them on, and are not a bad way for the neighborhood kids to spend a Friday evening.
In the most questionable move yet, however, someone decided it would be a good idea to give our own Nick Lipton a night. Nick’s Night was born. Like you probably are thinking right now, we weren’t sure who would turn out to check out Nick Lipton’s favorite video parts, and that answer is: mostly his friends and family. There were however, a few randoms there, and after the final hammer was dropped in Nick’s seemingly homemade video, almost everyone there got stoked out with YoBeat shirts. One lucky brat even walked away with an Ipod Touch provided by FUEL.
If you live in the Portland area, Fuel Fridays are going on every week and there is always free stuff there. We recommend you check them out as it’s the least we could do seeing as they made Nick feel cool for a night.
Nick’s burned DVD didn’t work on the DVD player. Some adjustments had to be made.
